Erica recently joined IEL as Development Director after serving as Development Director at Appleseed for eight years. Appleseed is a nonprofit network of 17 public interest justice centers in the United States and Mexico. Her primary responsibilities include developing and managing an annual strategic development plan in conjunction with IEL’s leadership team to meet IEL’s fundraising goals.  She will also work on developing a long term strategy to increase IEL’s fundraising base including major donors, corporations and foundations. In addition she will oversee fundraising for IEL’s 50th anniversary.

Erica has a strong background in corporate, major gifts and event fundraising.  Her work experience includes serving as Political Director for the Women’s Campaign Fund and as Special Assistant to San Francisco Mayor Frank Jordan during his administration. She has also worked on several mayoral, senate and presidential campaigns.

She is an avid Bridge player and enjoys volunteering for various charitable organizations in her free time.
Erica received her B. S. from George Washington University.
